He was always a fundamentalist, who hided himself with a liberal pronunciation. We knew it in Turkey since the beginning,I think now the whole world knows it.
He can be named everything else but democrat. He wants to turn our democracy to a religious based sheria regime.

Upon his return on June 7, Erdogan continues to dismiss protests as nothing more than "vandalism." http://news.sky.com/story/1100481/turkey-pm-erdogan-defiant-upon-return

Such denial doesn't bode well for his political future. More importantly, we hope that his entrenched position doesn't indicate that he plans an even more brutal crackdown on protestors.

he HAS returned on June 5th, and you know what happened? NOTHING. He deliberately continues to ignore the PEOPLE and tries to make it look like his supporters are for real. His government tried to collect people from all around Istanbul by special buses, they arranged the whole city's transportation system, people texted each other so they can gather a crowd to meet him - BUT, it wasn't even 1/10th of the PEOPLE who are STILL PEACEFULLY trying to defend their democratic rights and freedom of speech. Erdogan's crowd was chanting: "Let us go and we will destroy Taksim", meanwhile the PEOPLE-the RESISTANCE never even once said anything about "destroying" anything..RESISTANCE people are even continuously reminding each other that their act is completely peaceful and nobody should harm anything. You decide for your own who has the real democracy now...
